Thank you, George, for inviting me to join this group. I do hope this request won't be seen as spam! This is not a sneaky attempt to hook you on my book, or get you to buy it. I made what I now consider to have been a mistake by entering a social networking contest designed to force shy authors to campaign for votes.

I wasn't planning to campaign, but can't bear to lose by more than 500 votes to someone who asks for votes on Twitter several times a day. (Asking on Twitter is legal, but not my sort of tactic.)

Although the contest page mentions "Review" that is a misnomer. You award stars based on your opinion of the cover art, of the title, of the blurb on the page. It's nothing to do with having read the entire book.

BTW, the site is giving away 3 free motivational e-books and I am told that at least one of them (10 Habits of Highly Unsuccessful People) is very funny.
